Lee Thomas was born August 25, 1962 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
After living many places such as England, Las Vegas and San Antonio,
Lee decided he needed to live somewhere more exciting, he therefore
found himself in Georgetown Kentucky in 1989.
Coming from a musical family, Lee has experience playing
many instruments. The first time he ran his fingers over the keyboard
was when he was in jr. high school. Since boys will be boys, as he went
on to high school, he wanted more. Throughout high school, Lee played
tuba, baritone horn, as well as keyboards, and later on, picked up the
bass in college.
Going to Berea College, one might say, was a musical
experience for Lee. Especially giving the fact that he wrote a musical,
with a buddy of his, titled “The Musical Adventures of Cosmo and
Astro”. This musical was based on a comic strip that Lee’s
friend wrote. To this day no one is sure whether Lee was “Cosmo”
or “Astro”. He also adapted music for “Lysistrata”.
Both of these musicals were produced at Berea College.
It’s evident that Lee has a diverse style when
it comes to his musical abilities. For a while he played with a jazz
band called “The Neighborhood”. Then moving on to a local
country band called “Trish Toreline and the Bridgestreet Band”,
as well as, “Midnight Rodeo”. A local variety band, “Party
of Four”, was lucky to get Lee too. One might wonder if that band
is now known as “Party of Three”.
Taking all of his experience, knowledge, and good humor
with him, Lee now plays keyboards, his first love, in an on-going musical,
“The Musical Adventures of The 2 Cool Band”.
The 2 Cool Band touches on all styles of music allowing
Lee to express his diversity. So now, after traveling the world, exploring
different musical genres, instruments and people, Lee has found his
niche with 2 Cool, and 2 Cool has found it’s niche with Mr. Lee.
Some of Lee’s likes include:
Walks on the Beach

Some of Lee’s dislikes are:
